Hana (she/they) is an undergraduate student at UIC and is a second generation Malaysian American from the Chicago suburbs. They are currently in their senior year of pursuing their Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design at the UIC College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts. At AARCC, Hana is responsible for designing AARCC-related flyers and booklets. They are also an AAMP Mentor and a GLAS Artist-in-Residence! As an artist and designer, Hana creates work that is related to their culture and identity, as well as issues in the Muslim American and Asian American communities. Hana loves cats, tv dramas, and any food they are not allergic to. But if you really want to see the inside of their mind, talk to them about Jurassic Park or the Twilight Saga.
