About
Alyson Kung is the Assistant Director for Education and Outreach. She is a University of Illinois Chicago alumni. Raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, she comes from 1.5 generation Chinese American parents from Myanmar. Her work includes cultural programming: connecting with student organizations, campus departments, and community organizations; supervising the outreach team: outreach to campus and high school students via events, newsletter, and social media; and providing educational support to students. She has also traveled extensively, including living in Australia and South Korea. At the core of her work is always community and social justice.
