Alyson Kung is the Assistant Director for Education and Outreach. Alyson assists with the Asian American organizations and community partner initiatives. She also is the Educational Support coordinator at AARCC. She is a UIC Alumna and her UIC experience includes Student Orientation, the Women's Leadership and Resource Center, and the Office of Meetings and Conferences. At UIC she was highly involved in the Asian American community through the Asian American Mentor Program and Asian American Students in Alliance. In 2015-2016, Alyson volunteered in South Korea with the Young Adult Volunteer program. Following that she spent time in the US as an English tutor for SAT and ACT at C2 Education. Alyson is a second generation American and third generation Chinese with parents from Myanmar, and grew up in the Northern suburbs of Chicago.
